The best grocery story of all time.

The best thing happened to me today. A completely unexpected wonderful moment that left me speechless.

Tomorrow we fly all the way to California! The west coast, y'all! This morning, before work, I had to make a last minute supply run (meaning a case of diapers, some Goldfish crackers, and some bananas = necessities when traveling with a toddler!)

Anyways, at the checkout there was a woman in front of me who was buying this amazing looking chocolate cake. I leaned over to her and said, "wow, that cake looks delicious!" She laughed and said it was her co-workers birthday today. She then looked at me and said, "You know what? I'm going to buy your groceries!" I was shocked! I said, "no, no, no! But I appreciate that offer very much." And she insisted! She said she was feeling good today and that she was going to buy my groceries... and she did. It was unbelievable. If it hadn't of happened to me and I wasn't literally standing there, I wouldn't have believed it!

I shook her hand and introduced myself and basically thanked her profusely. Then I decided, well hot dang! I should do the same! So I turned to the woman behind me, introduced myself, and said, "listen the lady in front of me just bought my groceries for me and I would love to buy your groceries for you." She just starred at me and then smiled. I shook her hand and she let me buy her bacon, eggs, flour, and biscuits! I told her to have a great breakfast and I then went to work.

I have literally been smiling all morning.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Good people exist. Kind people are out there. Don't forget it. Float on...
