Rambling

Good morning. Friday is creeping in. Yes! Potty training is still a work in progress. Char is having some accidents, but more successes at this point. There was a transition process going from home to daycare this week. She's a trooper. The pure excitement and pride she feels when she does her business is amazing to see as a parent. I hope her life is filled with such prideful moments.

Last weekend we were confined to the house to really focus on the training and this weekend she gets to go back to swim lessons and to a friend's birthday party at the local gymnastics center. Her best pals from daycare will all be there. Should be fun to watch.

This is a completely random thought here, but you know what would be phenomenal? Having fresh sheets put on your bed every. single. day. I'm convinced that there is no greater luxury in the world than fresh smelling, cool crisp sheets.

Oh, and if you wanted to know how cool I am these days, just know this, I am the chick cruising around with the "Do You Know the Muffin Man" and the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" song blasting out the stero and the Elmo potty chair riding shotgun.
